The Rockschool exam typically involves performance pieces and technical exercises, with ear tests and general musicianship questions at the higher grades. This course covers all of it — your teacher works through the syllabus with you and runs mock assessments so nothing in the exam room comes as a surprise.

Yes — reading notation is built into the piano curriculum, developed gradually alongside your playing so it never feels like separate homework. By the end of the course you read and play material at this level's standard.

It is the Intermediate stage of Spardha's Piano pathway, which runs from Foundation through Advanced with certifications at each step. When you complete it, your teacher maps your next course based on how you are progressing and what you want from your music.
