About The Course
Does your child have what it takes to become successful in the music industry? The Indian classical method book 1 is the first step towards becoming one!
This course is a beginner level curriculum of classical singing with practical and theoretical knowledge of Indian classical music. During this course, the student learns the basic concept of swar, taal and ragas of classical music.
Prerequisites
- Must have completed foundation Vocals course
- Timeline: 6-8 months

- Sargam Geet
- Raag Bhoop
- Raag Yaman
- Taal — Teentaal, Dadra
- Lakshan Geet
- Raag Durga — Jhaptaal or composition in Roopak
- Hindustani Music Theory
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
After completion of this course, students will:
- Students will be able to sing Chota Khayal in at least two ragas along with basic taans and aalap
- Students will be able to sing at least one Lakshangeet and Sargamgeet
- Students will be able to clap and recite basic taals with correct bols
- Students will be able to sing any Light Music composition
- Students will be able to sing along with Tabla and Tanpura
