ABGMVM Prarambhik - Level 1
About The Course
PRARAMBHIK is the First Level of Grade Exam of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.
In this course, students learn the basic voice culture, vocal warmup exercises, singing swar alankar, introduction to Raag Sangeet – Chota khayal.
Prerequisites
- Must have completed Spardha Foundation Course
Topics Covered
- Singing with Tanpura ( Sa.. Pa... Sa)
- Basic bandish/Songs in Raag Durga, Bhoop, Kaafi, Des and more
- Basic Recitation and clapping of Taals - Teentaal, Dadra, Keherwa
- Raag Knowledge and Theory
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Sing in Tune with Tanpura (Sa...Pa...Sa)
- Sing Aroh-Avroh of at least 6 ragas
- Sing at least 4 bandishes on Teentaal
- Recite different Taals on Claps
- Answer basic theory questions
- Read and write basic notations
